Chris & April

This is Chris & April Hizny of Tucson, AZ. Hot Lites Mobile DJ's provided music for their Wedding Reception on August 1, 2003 at the Hidden Valley Inn in Tucson.

The Reception wes held at the Hidden Valley Inn. It was an elegant location with an old western atmosphere. The Bride and Groom met while on a Pink Floyd website and many of their guests traveled from around the country to attend the union. Some of the guests they met face-to-face for the first time!

As you can see, the Newlyweds mingled as their guests got to know each other. We played a mix of 50's, 60's and 70's music for the reception! Although this was not a traditional reception, we did announce the cake cutting and introduced the toast. We played the theme for "The Love Boat" as the newlyweds cut the cake! And yes! We did play some Pink Floyd several times during the reception!!!!

It was really great meeting Chris and April and they were a very happy couple! Here's the Hot Lites Mobile DJ System on the front stage of the Hidden Valley Inn!

I was concerned about the song choice at my reception since it was to be attended by a large majority of musicians, rabid music fans, and cynical Gen-Xers. I had an idea of what kinds of songs - many non-traditional - that I wanted to hear. The DJ was able to use my requests and fill in thematically consistent tunes between the specific songs I asked for. I was impressed with the technology, sound quality, volume, and openness to the spontaneity of the evening in terms of requests and so forth. I could not have asked for a better DJ and recommend Hot Lites Mobile DJs unreservedly.
